Dining at Casa Dorinda offers beautiful surroundings, a delightful
atmosphere and gourmet cuisine. Three delicious meals a day are
planned and prepared by a five-member food-service team with a
combined total of 82 years of experience in fine dining.
Food is never boring or predictable at the Casa due to the
six-week menu cycle that ensures a variety of tasty offerings every
day of the year. From the delicious breakfast and lunch buffets to
the formal evening dinners, residents enjoy fresh, deliciously prepared
dishes served by a pleasant, experienced serving staff. There are
always three different entrees offered with each evening meal, plus
creative vegetarian fare for those who prefer it.
All holidays and seasonal events are observed with festive menus and
décor. Wine is served on special occasions, and residents may bring
their own wine or spirits to the dining room to accompany any meal.
Residents are encouraged to express their special food interests,
which in most cases can be accommodated. An on-staff dietician is
available to counsel residents with special nutritional needs.
Referred to by many residents as "the best restaurant in
town," the Casa dining room reminds one of a fine restaurant.
The dining room has open seating, allowing residents to dine when and
with whom they choose. Seated at a table of their selection by a
charming host or hostess, their special wishes are attended to with
courtesy and competence. Friends and family are always welcome to
join residents in the dining room, and special dinners of choice can
be prepared for private parties.
Room service is available to apartment homes for each meal. If a
resident becomes ill and contacts the Clinic Nurse, meals will be
delivered at no charge. If a resident is not ill, there is a room
service charge for delivery.
Dining at Casa Dorinda is a daily experience that is a feast for
the eyes, the senses, and especially the palate.
