Casa Dorinda's Maintenance Department is a fully
staffed, professional department consisting of
13 professionally trained employees, including
a department administrator and a department director
that is a licensed contractor. The staff ensures
that your apartment home as well as all of the
common areas operates smoothly. The maintenance
staff is on duty or on call seven days a week.
Maintenance is at your service for any need from
a clogged drain to the installation of bookcases
or skylights. To request maintenance service,
you simply complete a "work order" and your request
will be given prompt attention.
Casa's Housekeeping Department consists of over
30 full or part-time employees. The Housekeeping
Department works diligently to ensure that your
apartment home is always looking its best, that
your linens are fresh and that all of your Housekeeping
needs are met. A weekly housekeeping and linen
service is included in your monthly fee, as well
as an in-depth cleaning of your apartment every
six months.
Upon moving into Casa, you are entitled to four
hours of labor from our Housekeeping Department
to help you with whatever your needs may be. Our
Housekeeping Department is always at your service
for any appropriate need. To request additional
housekeeping services, residents need only fill
out a "work Order".
Casa Dorinda has very limited storage available
in addition to closet space in apartment homes.
The Housekeeping Department manages on-campus
storage "cupboards" of approximately 4'x4'x4',
that are adequate for storage of luggage, holiday
decorations, etc. Larger public storage facilities
nearby are listed in the telephone book yellow
pages.
Casa Dorinda's security consists of a Security
Sergeant and five Security Officers providing
24-hour security of Casa's 48-acre campus. The
department performs a variety of security and
non-security duties.
Security personnel enforce parking regulations
and other traffic regulations to ensure the safe,
orderly flow of traffic. They also assist other
departments when necessary to maintain the secure,
high quality Life Care services that casa Dorinda
is committed to provide for residents.
Three types of parking are available on a limited
basis. Uncovered parking spaces are most readily
available. The casa also has carports as well
as underground parking garage spaces on an "as
available" basis.
